22nd  Sept 2005GS holds discussions with CMD, BSNL on issues concerning our membership. The CMD make categorical and positive assurances that the pending issues mainly promotional  policies, promotion of SDEs to Adhoc DEs and restoration of powers to CGMs for creation of posts will be sorted out after discussions with Chairman Telecom Commission . The discussions will be held in the immediate future.

21st  Sept 2005Urgent - Circle Secretaries to expedite the vacancy position of SDEs in the revised proforma.Order No.2-21/2005-Pers-II dated 15-09-2005 along with format for reporting. There should no further delay on the subject.

21st  Sept 2005Chairman of the committee informs GS that job of the man power committee is under finalisation. The committee is putting up a note to the BSNL Management  Committee for approval.

20th  Sept 2005The All India Conference of SNEA (I) will be held at Bangalore on 19th to 22nd Jan 2006. Circle Secretaries are requested to hold their Circle Conference well in time before the AIC. AIC fee of Rs. 50/- may be collected from each member. The delegate fee will be Rs.500/- per delegates. Circle/CHQ quota may be cleared  well in advance. Election of delegates may be conducted at SSA/Brach level as per the Constitutional provisions.

20th  Sept 2005Haryana Circle conference held at Rewari on 10 and 11th September, 2005. The open session addressed by GS Com. G. L. Jogi, Jt. Secretary (North) Com. Kehar Singh, MTNLEA GS Com.V K Tomar, CGMT , Haryana, Shri. Gokul Singh , GMTD Rewari Shri. B L Varsheny , GMTD Rohtak Shri. Mahak Singh, Circle Secretary Com. Aravind Pal Dhaiya was attended by huge gathering of SNEA members and activists. The conference was conducted in an exemplory and disciplined manner. Active deliberations held on issues of current importance. GS Com.G.L.Jogi in his address at the delegate session highlighted the current status of the various issues under persual.  COM. J R YADAV  and COM ARVIND PAL DHAIYA were unanimously elected as Circle President and Circle Secretary respectively.

15th  Sept 2005Promotion of JTOs to SDEs.-  All the Circles are asked to report the Regular Vacancies of SDEs in the revised format. Circle Secretaries  may immediately persue the case and ensure that the vacancy position of SDEs in respect of their Circles are intimated to Corporate Office positively before 30^th Sept 2005.  Copies from the Circles may be obtained and faxed to the CHQ. Dayanidhi Maran, Hon’ble M.O.C & IT, on serious financial irregularities in the pilot project “Enterprise Resource Planning”- (ERP) of Gujarat Circle - completely ignoring the guidelines set about by “CVC” for PSUs resulting in huge financial loss to BSNL.
